The Secret Sauce: Power and Geometry
At the heart of this thing is a high-density infrared lamp. It’s built to deliver serious heat fast, without tripping your electrical panel. We run it on 400V. This lets us push all the power you need through a much smaller setup, which keeps the wiring neat and compact. And that 300mm tube length? Totally intentional. It lines up perfectly with the standard drying window on most glass lines. So you get the heat hitting the ink exactly where and when it needs to set. At 2500W, it has the muscle to flash-dry ink on glass in seconds.
The Details That Matter
We chose a halogen-filled quartz tube. Why? Because it can take the heat—and the constant on-off cycle—without losing its punch. The tube is also specially coated to match the ink’s absorption. That means more energy goes straight into the print, and less is wasted heating up the machine frame. For the electrical connection, we went with an R7s connector. It’s a compact, two-pin design that’s proven itself. It makes the lamp a simple, drop-in replacement and keeps the hardware at the end of the line nice and small.
