Here is the thing about standard wiring: the adhesives they use just can’t handle the heat. Over time, the insulation gets brittle. Why “Good Enough” Isn’t Actually Enough
A lot of generic assemblies rely on basic heat-shrink tubing or some cheap silicone. It looks fine on day one, but it doesn’t hold up. We do things a bit differently. A Small Trade-off for a Lot of Peace of Mind
Now, there is a catch. Because this high-grade sealing is so robust, the lead-wire is stiffer. You can’t just bend it at a sharp angle during installation. If you try to force a tight kink in the wire, you might actually crack the potting compound. So, when you’re designing your chassis, just give the wire a bit of breathing room.
