Setting It Up and Keeping It Running
When you’re wiring these in, just make sure you use a moisture-resistant junction box. It’s a small detail, but it’s a big deal for safety. We also made the lamp holders easy to access, so when a filament eventually burns out, you can swap it out in a couple of minutes without a headache. One last thing. Even with an IPX5 rating, these units need to breathe. If your bathroom vent fan is too weak, the housing can overheat. If that happens, the thermal cutoff will trip to keep things safe.
